It was Carl Honore, in his book, “In Praise of Slowness,” that the phrase “Slow Movement” was coined. It has inspired people to spread ideas about the value of slowness and it is sprouting up in several venues. A subculture is born.
We don’t all have to be Shaolin Monks to take advantage of the many and profound benefits of a mindfulness practice. Mindfulness practice actually isn’t all about the mind. It’s much more about discovering the mind/body connection.
